Ka Ho Cho is a name that resonates with the fourth and final wife of renowned American stand-up comedian and actor, Redd Foxx. As one of the most significant names in comedy history, he was celebrated for his bold nightclub performances during the civil rights era.

Early Life of Ka Ho Cho
Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Ka Ho Cho had a comfortable upbringing thanks to her father’s thriving jewelry business in the city. She would later cross paths with Redd Foxx while in Las Vegas where they fell deeply in love. After courting each other for some time, they took their vows at Little Church of the West in July 1991 amidst family members’ friends.
Redd Foxx's Past Marriages
Before tying the knot with Ka Ho Cho in his fourth marriage attempt, Redd Foxx had been married three times before. Evelyn Killebrew was his first spouse whom he divorced after only three years following their marriage in 1948.
Later on down the line came Betty Jean Harris – a fellow dancer who performed alongside LaWanda Page (who played Aunt Esther on Sanford and Son). They tied knots back on July 5th1956 but unfortunately parted ways after spending eighteen long years together due to unfaithfulness issues by Redd Foxx himself.
Joi Yun Chi Chung became Fox’s third wife when she served as a cocktail waitress at Las Vegas Hilton Hotel shortly after arriving from Korea; however, even this relationship failed due to irreconcilable differences resulting in divorce proceedings whereby both went separate ways in come1981.
Redd Foxx had been pessimistic about marriage after his third divorce. Still, eventually, he changed his mind thanks to the unending love and unwavering support from Ka Ho Cho. Their grand ceremony witnessed a massive turnout of well-wishers, friends, and family members who wished them well.
The Sudden Death of Redd Foxx
Regrettably, Redd Foxx’s union with Ka Ho Cho was short-lived as he passed away three months later on October 11th 1991 due to a sudden heart attack. The news shocked many people close to him, including his wife who went through immense grief during that time.
After her husband’s death, Ka Ho Cho found herself embroiled in an embezzlement scandal whereby she accused Debraca Denise Foxx (his daughter from Betty Jean Harris) of embezzling her father’s money without any justification while managing his estate.
Debraca was subsequently removed from her role as an administrator back in 2006; John Cahill took over administrative rights in 2007. Reports indicate that when Redd passed away; there remained an enormous outstanding tax bill worth $3.6 million.
Finally, Ka Ho Cho may have been the fourth wife of Redd Fox but their relationship brought them happiness despite it being short-lived owing to unforeseen circumstances.
